Who am I and why did I make this guide?
My name is Michael Evans. I am the co-founder and CEO of Ream, the subscription platform by authors for authors that helps authors make hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in subscription revenue. I’m a sci-fi thriller author of 12+ novels, a former live streamer and YouTuber, and a college student at Harvard.
I also co-host the Subscriptions for Authors Podcast, am an admin in the Subscriptions for Authors Facebook Group, and am the author of Creator Economy for Authors: A Guide to the Future of Publishing.
I work closely with Emilia Rose, a steamy romance author of 20+ novels who makes six figures per year from subscriptions. She co-hosts the Subscriptions for Authors Podcast with me, helps run the Facebook Group, and co-founded Ream along with me and Sean Patnode.
