Welcome to the Storytellers Rule the World Game Show!

Our goal is to help authors getting started on the Ream platform with fun, friendly competitions to win recognition and cash!

Every month during the Storytellers Rule the World Show we host a game show segment where we give away cash prizes to authors in the community.

Here’s a bit more about how the Storytellers Rule the World Game Show works:

• Game Show Prizes are funded by proceeds from the Storytellers Rule the World Merch Store. Thank you to all our amazing supporters who wear the best clothes for authors in the world and make supporting other authors through the Game Show possible.
• Every quarter we tally up the profits from the Merch Store, with an independent audit conducted by author Stephanie Berchiolly. The profits from the prior quarter are then used entirely to fund Game Show prizes for the next quarter. We announce these publicly inside our Facebook Groups and on this blog.
• Any author with a Ream account (it’s free to create a Ream account) is eligible to participate. Every Game Show prize is awarded no-strings attached. Ream will never take any rights to any author’s work, require exclusivity, or make you pay back Game Show prize winnings. You will be obligated to pay any required taxes on Game Show winnings.
• Each Game Show will have different rules to qualify as a finalist and the finals themselves will have a different format to determine the winner. Each month will be a fun experiment and adventure. With this said, each qualifying round (open to everyone) and finalist round (open to selected finalists) will be focused on helping you progress in your career as an author and will give all participants time to get extra work done 😎.

We plan to do our first live game show on the Storytellers Rule the World Show in June, 2024. In the meantime, we have already distributed $400+ to authors who participated in our first game show back in January.
